The “Elements of ART and Heritage Academy”
The search for a truly Indian way of teaching and learning Indian Culture, Heritage and Performing Arts, led Guru. Roopa Ravindran to found E A R T H A in 2010 as a modern rediscovery of the traditional Gurukul. E A R T H A is one of India’s foremost Performing arts organization creating innovative and ethereal experiences which widen the perception of Performing Arts. E A R T H A Team works towards conditioning, and providing access to the younger generation towards performing Arts through our numerous training and development projects. E A R T H A has become stronger with every passing day under the direction of Guru. Roopa Ravindran, performing and teaching at the biggest platforms in our country and across the world.
The “Elements of Art and Heritage Academy” is a splendour augmenting of the earthly expressions and heavenly experiences, through the highly bonafide art form “Natya”. E A R T H A is an aspiration to reveal the vast and rich world of Indian heritage. E A R T H A aims to enable its students to experience the thrill of learning the fine Arts in tune with nature. It is taking all promising steps to make the traditional E A R T H A Gurukul in the ambience of Nature, at “Karnataka”.

Roopa Ravindran
Founder – Director
She is a prominent Indian Classical Dancer who specializes in Kathak and Bharathanatyam. She is a well-known Choreographer, Teacher, Actress and a Social Activist. Roopa has won two National Award in the field of Performing Arts and one from Governor of Karnataka
Roopa has won two National Award in the field of Performing Arts and one from Governor of Karnataka. Roopa is Pursuing her D.Litt in Dance & Spirituality. Having completed her Master in Dance, Bharathanatyam. Roopa Graduated from the Natya Institute of Kathak & Choreography with a Degree in Dance, under the guidance & blessings of Guru Late Dr. Maya Rao. Currently she is practicing under Guru Pt. Rajendra Gangani, Delhi. She is a certified Yoga Instructor from S–VYASA University, Bangalore.
After experiencing and learning about certain disturbing situations in the life of the underprivileged children, Roopa Ravindran opted for professional social work as her career option.
